"Peas" Jean Elizabeth Hadnot

Jean Elizabeth “Peas” Hadnot, age 53, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, July 8, at her home. She was born January 29, 1968 in Newark, Ohio.

Peas enjoyed flower gardening, painting, coloring and loved arts and crafts. She was a member of Trinity AME Church. Peas was a very giving person and she spent much of her time helping others.

She is survived by three children, Ciara Hadnot of Reynoldsburg, Shawnisha Hadnot of Newark and Damen Robertson (Alaina Roy) of Newark; grandchildren, Nevaeh Turner, Jayla Hadnot, Alivia Robertson, Nariah Sutton and Amira Robertson; her parents, Elizabeth P. (Franklin) Smith of Newark and Eugene Hadnot of Columbus; brothers, Douglas Franklin (fiancé Angie Sullivan) of Huntington, West Virginia, Lamar Franklin of Gahanna, Robert White of Utica and Dana Franklin of Newark; sister, Fawn Hadnot of Columbus; nieces and nephews; special friend, Joe Bowman of Newark; dear friends, Becky Scott and Robin Jackson.
