Peggy Burke

Peggy L. Burke, 60, of Wetumpka, Alabama, formerly of Pataskala, Ohio, died peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1953 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Jake and Mexie (Cox) Bates. Peggy had a tremendous love for family, and she never knew a stranger. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, gardening, and traveling with the love of her life.She is survived by her loving family: Husband, Richard L. Burke of Wetumpka, Alabama; son, Michael, Grove City, Ohio; daughter, Christina (Josh) Addy, of Newark, Ohio; two beloved granddaughters, Sophie and McKenzy Addy; two sisters, Dorothy Coon and Lois Foux, both of New York; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Jake Bates, Jr. and Nephew, Jerry Wildman.A funeral service, celebrating Peggys life, will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St..
