Penny L. Getter

Penny L. Getter, 65, of Newark, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on January 25, 2022. She was born in Newark, Ohio on April 18, 1956 to the late Wayne and Hilda (Wilson) Rutherford. Penny was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed crocheting, watching game shows, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Penny (Scott) Dunlap of Newark, William (Amanda) Hottinger of Pataskala and Lori (Stephen Hawthorne) Getter of Newark; sister, Trudy Jolly; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis G. Getter III and Bill Hottinger Jr.; and brother, Wayne Rutherford.
