Penny Sue Patterson

A memorial service celebrating the life of Penny Sue Patterson, age 66, of St. Louisville, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Penny was born February 11, 1957 in Newark, Ohio to the late Denbo “Tim” and Ruth Ann (Streets) McCoy. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Penny was a head start teacher for ten years and retired from Walmart in Heath where she had been a cashier. Penny enjoyed doing cross stitch, coloring, working puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Randy G. Patterson, whom she married October 11, 1986; three children, Brandy Patterson, Cody Patterson, and Ryan Patterson; a granddaughter, Ember Sponseller; three sisters, Barb Lonzo, Pam McCoy, and Nancy (Mike) Shaffer; an aunt, Phyllis Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
