Philip E. Shaw

Philip E. Shaw, age 71, of Newark, passed away on May 4, 2015 at Arlington Care Center. Philip was born December 1, 1943 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Cecil Lenora (Hollar) Shaw.Philip retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas where he had been a forklift operator. He was a member of the Druids and the GMP Local #244.He is survived by a daughter, Kermane (Thomas) Byers of Heath; grandson, Jacob Byers; sister, Norma (David) Arter of Newark; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kermane H. (Eckman) Shaw; and a brother, Keith.At his request, there will be no calling hours or service observed.Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Shaw family.
