Phyllis Elaine Liggett, 90, of Johnstown, was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Phyllis was born November 30, 1931, to the late Clarence and Martha James of Kansas. After the death of her father, her mother remarried and Phyllis was adopted by her stepfather, Wilford Wolfe and eventually moved to Alexandria. Phyllis and her late husband, Joe, enjoyed years of camping and traveling. After Joe retired, they enjoyed living in Florida, attending Landmark Baptist Church, and spending time with many friends from church and Citrus Ridge Park. She is survived by her children, Tom (Tina) Stevens, Joyce Stevens, Kathy (Dave Yantes) Herbert, and David (Julia) Liggett; step children, Terry (Tom Hummel) Allen and Jody (Delano) Clark; grandchildren, Todd Stevens, Scott Lichtenberger, Jeff Allen, Ted Stevens, Ryan Allen, Lisa Thompson, Josh Clark, Brandon Clark, Wesley Herbert, Caroline Liggett, and Abbi Herbert; many great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Clarice Cramer, Janice Trainer, Linda (Joe) Hickey, and Karen (Ralph) Johnson; and special caregiver, Lucy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Liggett; and sister, Wilma Hughes.
