Ralph Eugene Allen

A memorial service for Ralph Eugene Allen, age 58, of Newark, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, at Waters Edge Church in Buckeye Lake.Ralph was born February 5, 1956 in Newark, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Mae Ruth (Sherwood) Allen.Ralph was a member of Waters Edge Church since 2009. He enjoyed collecting things and was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan.He is survived by a daughter, Rose M. (Jay) Holbrook of Hebron; a son, Shawn A. Avery of Heath; six grandchildren, Codi Withrow, Shawn A. Avery, Jr., Austin Avery, Kristen Kelly, Jonathon Holbrook and Joshua Holbrook; two brothers, Jeff Allen of Gahanna and Andy Allen of Buckeye Lake; four nieces; aunt, Roberta Allen of Youngstown; and uncle, Bill Sherwood of Thornville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, OH 43058.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Allen family.
