Ralph H. Hartman

A graveside service, celebrating the life of Ralph H. Hartman, 79, of Newark, Ohio, Englewood, FL and Oak Harbor, OH, will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Welsh Hill Cemetery with David Linn officiating. Ralph was born on August 6, 1938 in Newark, Ohio to the late Stanley and Edith (Lambert) Hartman. He passed away to be with the Lord on January 27, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Prior to retirement, he was a supervisor with Owens Corning Fiberglas for over 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading, woodworking, tinkering and playing horseshoes. Most important in his life was the time he spent with his loving wife, Bonnie, and his family. Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Bonnie (Johnson) Hartman, whom he married September 1, 1990; sons, Tom (Kathleen) Hartman and Todd (Theresa) Hartman; grandchildren, Evan, Dusty, Crystal and Zach; great grandchildren, Karlee, Lucas, Landen and Carsen; prior wife, Rose; other chosen family members; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Ralph Hartman Jr. and Tim Hartman; sister, Sara Riffle; and brothers, George Hartman and Chuck Hartman.
