Ralph L. Broseus

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ralph L. Broseus, 71, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Priest officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, three hours prior to the funeral service, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.Ralph was born in Newark, Ohio on July 12, 1943 to the late Harry R. Broseus Sr. and Marie Louise (Davisson) Broseus. He passed away on May 9, 2015 at his residence while surrounded by his family.Prior to retirement, Ralph was a fork lift operator with Owens Corning Fiberglas for 32 years. He was a member of the GMP Local #244. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy (Halblaub) Broseus, whom he married December 4, 1963; five children, Kyle (Lori) Broseus, Karey L. (Diana) Broseus, Kevin (Joy) Broseus, Dwight (Lea Anne) Broseus and Theresa (Matthew) Booher; 12 grandchildren, Kyleigh (Rob), Lindsey (James), Troy, Nicole, Amanda, Kennedy, Cheyenne, Caden, Kassie, Jazmine, Evan and Eva; one great granddaughter, Tinley; two brothers, William (Connie) Broseus and Harry (Charlene) Broseus Jr.; three sisters, Linda (William) Nethers, Virginia (James) Belt and Deanna (Ronald) Good; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Richard Broseus; and two sisters, Barbara Broseus and Joann Broseus.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ralph to Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
