Ramona June Huber

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Ramona June Tomblin Huber, 77, of Thornville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Bob Lovett as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Ramona was born June 29, 1941 in Urbana, the oldest daughter of 13 born to the late Chester H. and Icie Eva Fern (Frost) Tomblin. She had worked for Mount Carmel East Hospital and OSU Hospitals. A loving and caring Mother and Grandmother, Ramona loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Lighthouse Memorial Church in Millersport. She loved to crochet. She is survived by her loving family: Her daughter Kathy of Somerset, Son Glenn of Thornville; grandchildren Robert, Sheila (Randy) Matthews, Mark, Michael, Patricia (John) Lunning, Mary (Jonathan) Wheatley and Timothy; her 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Ronald (Sharon) Tomblin of Urbana, Douglas (Mary) Tomblin of Marysville, Jeffrey of Urbana; sisters Shirley Slusser and Debra (Bill) LeFever of Urbana; friends Virginia Crandell, Ina “Sis” Perdue and Patricia Owens; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Huber, whom she married on January 12, 1963; sons Robert Huber in 1967, Frederick Huber in 1992; and her grandchildren Jessica and Zachary Farley; her siblings Birch, Chester, Richard, Ernest, James, Michael; sisters Jean, her step-daughter Carolyn Storey; her sisters-in-law Goldie Appleman and Elsie (Robert) Rodney; her good friends Edna Steele and Mary Neville have also preceded her in death.
