Ramona M. Foresta

A funeral service celebrating the life ofRamona M. Foresta, age 85, of Thornville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Hebron home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, at the funeral home, 108 North 7th Street, Hebron.Ramona was born May 17, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Thomas Rebholz and Naomi (Flemming) Rebholz Aspel. She passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.Ramona was a graduate of Holy Family High School in Columbus. She was a homemaker and her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed beading, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Buckeye Lake.She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph T. Foresta, whom she married April 19, 1952; son, Joseph A. Foresta of Thornville; daughter, Paula L. (Charles) Kellar of Hebron; grandchildren, Jay Foresta, Katie Whitlatch and Jamie, Lynne and Frank Foresta; great-grandchildren, Hope, Faith and Grace Whitlatch, Lana Foresta, and Lily and Madison Foresta; cousin, Pat Gourley of Columbus; and her special cat, Tai.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Foresta; and by her aunt and uncle, Catherine and Harold Gourley, by whom she was raised.Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Social Services.Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for Ramona and her family.
