Randall Keith Mcelroy

Randall Keith “Randy” McElroy, age 63, of Newark, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

Randy was born December 19, 1956 in Levelland, Texas to the late Homer Kendall and Ruth Lorena (Bales) McElroy. He was a 1975 graduate of Zane Trace High School in Old Washington (Guernsey County). Randy retired from Dorsey Oil and Gas. Following his retirement he was employed as a truck driver with M.K. Hardesty in St. Louisville.

Randy was a member of First Baptist Church in Dresden where he was a deacon and played special music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and watching his weather station. He loved to chase storms, especially in Oklahoma.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 45 years, Audrey Lynn (Stillion) McElroy, whom he married November 7, 1975; a son, Greg McElroy of Marion; daughter, Dawna (William) Walters of Proctorville; brothers, Vernon McElroy and Gary (Darla) McElroy, all of Davenport, Oklahoma; sisters, Karen (Rick) Barezinski of Scranton, Kansas and Lindall Heavener of Tupelo, Mississippi; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Laura (Jack) Allberry of Newark, Clifford (Laura) Stillion of Johnstown, Kent (Cindy) Stillion of Salesville and Dee (Mike) Ashcraft of Newark; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or service observed.
