Randall R. Beck

A funeral service celebrating the life of Randall R. Beck, age 59, of Newark, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at Fairview Cemetery near Barnesville. Randy was born October 27, 1956 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Wesley and Mildred (Arnold) Beck. He passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. Randy loved hiking camping and being outdoors. He is survived by his children, Amber (Richard) Bidwell of Heath and Britney Beck of Newark, and their mother, Rebecca Holmes of Heath; grandchildren, Rocky VanValkenburg III, Arianna Bidwell, Ryland Elswick, Braelyn Elswick and Bo Evans; siblings, Donald Beck, Barb (Billy) Crawford, Gary Beck, Kevin (Mindy) Beck and Cyndi (Denny) Phillips; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Rodney Beck, Connie Fogle and Thel Beck. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
