Randall Lee Yost

Randall Lee Yost, 55, of Newark, passed away at his residence on February 26, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newark, Ohio on December 19, 1965 to the late Howard Edgar Yost and Karen Sue (Butts) Boylan, who survives. A memorial service celebrating Randall’s life will be held at a later date. Randall and his wife, Lisa, were the owners and operators of Licking Lawn and Landscape. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting, biking, weight-lifting competitions and coaching his daughter’s softball teams, along with doting on his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Lisa Michelle (Anthony) Yost, whom he married October 13, 1984; mother and step-father, Karen and Tim Boylan; daughters, Heidi Kesterson and Holly Yost; grandchildren, Kearra, Ava, Emma, Jack and Hunter Kesterson, and Jayden and Sean Crothers, and Marcus Turner, and Daycen and Michael Crothers.; brother, Robert (Laura) Yost; sister, Heather (Brad) Shull; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clyde and Dorothy Anthony; sister-in-law, Dorothy Anthony; his loving dog, Maggie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tracy Anthony. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Randall and his family.
