Randy Gene Miller

A funeral service celebrating the life of Randy Gene Miller, 62, of Glenford, will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Tim Sowards officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Randy was born in Newark, Ohio on February 28, 1958 to Ronald Miller and the late Ruth (Shoults) Miller. He passed away at his residence on February 16, 2021. Randy proudly served his country in the United States Navy, on the USS Puget Sound. He was an avid fisherman, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends. In addition to his father, survivors include his significant other, Delorse “Eager” Nethers; daughter, Shannon Miller; sister, Judy (Jimmy) Mitton; three grandchildren; two step-children, Donnie Moats and Chris Moats; three step-grandchildren; two nieces; three great nieces; one great nephew; and numerous friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Miller. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Randy and his family.
