A memorial service celebrating the life of Ray Alan Wolfe, age 63, of Newark, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, at Vineyard Grace Fellowship Church, 4905 Jacksontown Road, Heath, with Pastor John Schouten officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.Ray was born November 19, 1950 in Newark, Ohio to the late Albert and Mabel (Roberts) Wolfe. He passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his home.Ray was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, faithfully serving his country during Vietnam. He is survived by three daughters and grandchildren, Bobbie Jo (Tim) Scarberry (Timothy and Megan) of Aberdeen, Brandy (Eric Sapp) Wolfe (Caleb, Seth, Elijah and Noah) of Newark, and Amanda (Joe) DiPaolo (Nikolas and James) of Newark; siblings, Bob (Sharon) Wolfe of Newark, Larry (June) Wolfe of Geneva, Marilyn (Dave) Hunt of Hebron, Janice (Wayne) Copeland of Wadestown, WV, Bill (Carol) Wolfe of Newark and Brian (Angie) Wolfe of Hinesville, GA; aunts, Thelma Richards of North Carolina, Mary Roberts and Twila Bole, both of Newark; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
