Raymond Hommon

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Raymond B. Hommon, 65, of Hebron, will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Hebron Home of The Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, 108 N 7th Street in Hebron, with Pastor Brian Harkness as celebrant. Services will commence at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.Ray died Friday, June 1, 2012 in Newark following an extended illness. He was born in Lancaster on May 9, 1947, the son of Robert Hommon of Hebron and the late Marjorie (Elijah) Hommon.He was a retired truck driver for Englefield Oil Company in Newark, and a former member of the Hebron Christian Church. Ray loved to Fish and enjoyed his family and his many friends in and around Hebron.In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Patricia of Hebron, his daughter Tricia of Newark, his grandchildren Reggie, Taylor, Rakia and Bishop, great grandchildren Jody & Isaac; his sister Shirley (Jim) Neel of Buckeye Lake, 2 nephews Doug and Dennis, along with many friends.Friends may call on Monday, June 4th, 2012, from Noon until the time of the funeral services at 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Hebron.
