A funeral service, celebrating the life of Raymond Kirby Crouse, 40, of Pataskala, will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with burial to follow at Kirkersville Cemetery. Ray died suddenly, Friday, January 25, 2013. He was a long time resident of the Pataskala, Ohio area. He was born April 30, 1972, in Georgetown Ohio, the son of James Rodger and Mallory (Weaver) Crouse. Ray was a graduate of Westerville North High School and Mt. Vernon Nazarene College. He worked with the family owned business, Crouse Tree Service. He was a member of the International Society of Agriculture and was a skilled artisan having crafted crosses, knives, and muzzleloaders. Ray was an outdoorsman and adventurer and enjoyed fishing, swimming, and spending time with his daughters. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Norma Jean Crouse of Pataskala; daughters Hannah Grace Crouse, 11 and Allison Hope Crouse, 8; step-son, Matthew Osborn; step-daughter, Brittany Osborn; brothers, Rodger K. Crouse of Homestead, FL., Russell K. Crouse and Reuben K. Crouse, both of Pataskala; his sister, Laurinda J. Crouse of Pataskala; paternal grandmother, Carmen Marie (Fenner) Crouse; nieces Linda and Elizabeth Crouse; nephews, Mason, Luke, and Keith Crouse; father and mother-in-law, Bob and Patti Wildermuth; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter Kenneth and Esther Blanche (Ford) Weaver and Paternal grandfather, Raymond Asbury Crouse.
