Rebecca Ann Ross

Rebecca Ann Ross, age 67, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Embassy of Newark. She was born October 20, 1955 in Somerset, Ohio to the late Carl Leckrone and Bonnie (Strohl) Leckrone.

Rebecca was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping. Her family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by a son, Albert (Rebecca) Ross of Newark; daughter, Rhonda Ross of Newark; grandchildren, Daeshun Ross, Albert Ross, Jr. (Alexis), Ja’Geneiva Ross, Oactavia Suber, Elisha Ross, and Aaliyha Carter; great-grandson, Mason Carter; sisters, Sally Helser of Newark, Nancy Ratliff of Florida, and Pam Harris of New Lexington; brothers, Don (Sharon) Leckrone of Zanesville, and Carl Leckrone, Jr. of Reynoldsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Judy Leckrone, Ann Moore, and Brenda Fries; and brother, Dan Leckrone.

A homegoing service will be announced at a later date.
