A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rebecca S. “Becky” Patterson, 71, of Thornville, will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Burial will be held at Jacksontown Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Becky was born in Buckeye Lake, Ohio on October 19, 1952 to the late Lloyd and Betty (Humphrey) Fyffe. She passed away at her residence on February 11, 2024. Prior to retirement, Becky was a Certified OB/GYN Registered Nurse with Licking Memorial Hospital for 38 years. She enjoyed camping, traveling, taking art classes and painting stones. Most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Charles “Steve” Patterson; daughter, Bonnie J. (Rob) Miller; grandchildren, Dustin Price and Rebecca Price; brother, Der (Bonnie) Fyffe; sister, Gwen Hannigan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Kenny Corder and Tony Luckeydoo; grandson, Jake Corder; sister, Nancy Eisel; and brother-in-law, Tom Hannigan. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Becky to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Becky and her family.
