Regina K. Straits

A funeral service celebrating the life of Regina K. Straits, 60, of Thornville, will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, on Friday, prior to the funeral service, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Regina was born in Lancaster, Ohio on November 16, 1960 to the late James Martin and Charlotte (Bob) Hoffman, who survives. She passed away at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville on October 3, 2021. Regina was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Tim and most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband, Timothy W. Straits, whom she married September 21, 1977; daughter, Carrie Straits; son, Timothy Straits, Jr.; grandchildren, Keela (Jonathan) Hamilton, Janika (Curtis) Straits, Ranica Roberts, Deona Straits, Leanna Straits and Benny Straits; great grandchildren, Abol, Karmynn and Nova Hamilton and Sadie and Easton Stidham; brother, Larry Martin; sisters, Norma (Larry) Lifer, Annie (Gary) Tucker, Mary Martin and Audrey Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy and Joanne. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Regina to the American Diabetes Association.
