A funeral service celebrating the life of Reuben Keith Crouse, age 43, of Granville, will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Rick Stuhmer officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street, on Thursday, January 12th, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.; and on Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.Reuben was born in Georgetown, Ohio on November 24, 1973 to the late James Rodger Crouse and Mallory J. (Mary Weaver) Crouse, who survives.Reuben graduated from Watkins Memorial High School and attended The Ohio State University. He owned the family business, Crouse Tree Service, was an Arborist and was a member of the International Society of Arboriculture. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, was a craftsman, and he was a skilled artisan, creating and making knives, woodsman axes, throwing axes and muzzleloaders. He was an outdoorsman, adventurer and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his son, Mason.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving son, Mason Clay Crouse; brothers, Rodger K. (Elizabeth) Crouse and Russell K. Crouse; sisters, Laurinda J. Crouse; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by brother, Raymond; maternal grandparents, Walter Kenneth and Esther Blanche (Ford) Weaver; paternal grandparents, Raymond Asbury and Carmen Marie (Fenner) Crouse.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Reuben and the Crouse family.
