A funeral service for Rev. Harry Miller, Jr., age 91, of Saint Louisville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Rev. David Adams officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.Rev. Miller was born February 6, 1924 in East Millsboro, Pennsylvania to the late Harry Miller, Sr. and Beulah (Johnson) Miller. He passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital.Rev. Miller was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He was a minister for 70 years and pastored Eagles Nest Tabernacle for the past 48 years.He is survived by eight children, Donna Breeden of Virginia, Dennis W. (Elaine) Miller of Harrisonburg, VA, Deborah (John) Mason of Saint Louisville, Mark A. (Susan) Miller of Newark, Timothy E. Miller of Newark, Samuel K. Miller of Canton, Denise J. Clinedinst of Newark and Steve D. (Deborah) Miller of Saint Louisville; twenty-one grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Doris; brother, Jim (Carol) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 64 years, Anna Ruth (Ohler) Miller, whom he married on February 27, 1946 and who passed away on January 27, 2010; and by a grandson, Dennis Miller; two brothers; and three sisters.Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Memorial contributions may be made to the Eagles Nest Tabernacle Building Fund.Criss Wagner Hoskinson is honored to care for the Miller family.
