Richard Allen Moss

Richard Allen Moss, age 64, of McConnelsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. He was born March 5, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Raymond William and Madalynd Lou (Maddox) Moss.Richard had been a plumber/pipefitter and carpenter. He enjoyed feeding the birds, making people laugh and woodworking.He is survived by three children, Melisa Moss of Umatilla, FL, William Moss of Tampa, FL and Sean Moss of Spruce Pine, NC; four grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Malachi and Katherine; brothers, Rex Moss, John (Bonnie) Smith and Michael (Debbie) Taylor; sisters, Patricia (Joseph) Sexton, Deborah (Joe) Henson and Karen Tyson; and nieces and nephews.At his request, no service will be observed.Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Wildlife Center, 6131 Cook Road, Powell, OH 43065.
