Richard E. Morris

Richard E. Morris, age 59, of Newark passed away on March 25, 2014 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. Richardwas born in St. Louis, MO on June 30, 1954 to the late Eugene Richard Morris and Barbara (Robinson) Gilkey, of St. Louis. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Newark Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, spending time outdoors and enjoyed life to the fullest. In addition to his mother, survivors include his significant other, Carolyn Wachenschwanz; two sons, Ritchie Morris and Michael Morris; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Byron Morris. At Richards request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
