Richard Lee Hancock

Richard Lee Hancock, 78, of Newark, died Thursday, February 2, 2023, at his home. He was born April 22, 1944, in Cabin Creek, WV to the late Robert Lee and Virginia Faye (Thorpe) Hancock. Richard owned and operated Air Conditioning and Heating Company for several years. He enjoyed watching sports and he had a love for Corvette’s. He is survived by his son, Lance (Megan) Hancock; stepchildren, Marie Clapp and Robert Arnez; step granddaughter, Christine Caudill; three step great grandchildren; sister, Susan (J.T.) Lotozo; and nephew, Chad (Melissa) Lotozo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vonnie Hancock. No funeral services will be held.
