Richard L. "Rick" Mclean

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Richard Lee Rick McLean, 63, of Glenford, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating in the chapel of The Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow at a later date in the Zion Cemetery, Porterville. Rick died September 13, 2016 at his home in Glenford following an extended illness. He was born August 24, 1953, in Zanesville, the son of the late Paul E. and Marjorie P. (Fleming) McLean. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local #200. He was a graduate of Sheridan H.S., Class of 1971, and was an outstanding baseball player. He also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his sons Shane R. McLean and Christopher P. (Christina Orr) McLean, grandchildren Caleb, Kaiden and Haley; brothers James H. and Joni McLean, Joseph L. and Marilyn McLean and Ronald E. and Kathy McLean; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2-3:00 p.m. immediately prior to the memorial service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.
