Richard L. Tracy

A memorial service celebrating the life of Richard L. Tracy, age 74, of Thornville, will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 65 E. Columbus, Street, and Thornville. Richard was born in San Bernardino, California on July 6, 1943 to the late Jess O. and Maxine (Montgomery) Fryer. He passed away at his residence on December 7, 2017. Prior to retirement, Richard worked at Millersport Bait and Tackle for many years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran church. He enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards, coins and NASCAR memorabilia. He especially enjoyed traveling to Florida with his wife, Ellen and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Heather (David); son, Ryan; grandchildren, Karlee, Mason, Hannah, Dale, Jacob, Justin and Jarret; brother, Robert (Erin) and Jess (Pam); sister, Patricia; step-son, Thomas (Kathy); and numerous other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen S. Tracy; and a sister, Phyllis. The Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Richard and his family.
