He was born in Glo, Kentucky on January 2, 1947 to the late Vone Moore and Ada (Burkett) Moore.

Rich was married to his wife Sandra Elizabeth (Green) Moore for 53 years.

Survived by his wife Sandy; son, Kevin (Arianne) Moore of Thornville; daughter, Angela (Ben)Paxton of Burlington, Kentucky; brother Michael Bradley of Hebron; grandchildren Zoe, Lilly, and Wyatt Paxton, Aisley Bourke, and Cooper Moore.

Preceded in death by his father Vone Moore, his mother Ada (Burkett) Bradley, his Step-Father Burt Bradley and his brother Phillip Ooms.

Rich was a 1965 Graduate of Lakewood High School.

He was active in the community serving as a Hebron volunteer fireman for 25 years, and served as the Chief. Rich served two terms on the Hebron council. He assisted in construction of Canal Park ball field in Hebron, and coached little league for the first 5 years of the ball field.

For his service to the Hebron community Mayor Jim Layton declared May 25, 2022 “Councilman Rich Moore Day”.

He was employed by Holophane for over 25 year, and served as a Supervisor until his retirement in 2008.

Rich was a long time member of Harbor Hills Country Club, and served on the board of directors.

He also volunteered as scoreboard operator for Fairfield Union High School volleyball matches from 2009-2018.

He enjoyed golfing, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, horse racing, watching volleyball, going to casinos, and spending time with his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning October 7, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Jacksontown.
