Richard Sayatovich, 72, of Heath, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic, on Saturday, April 21, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family He was born on November 19, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Nickola Sayatovich and Kathleen Mary (Haluczik) Sayatovich.He graduated from Newark Catholic High School in 1963. He was a member of Newark Eagles #387 and was a former member of Glenford Lions Club. He worked at South Texas Drywall and Perry County Foods, until his retirement. He loved sports, whether watching or coaching his great nephew and great nieces, playing or watching on TV. He loved to tell stories of years gone by and he never met a stranger.Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Deborah J. (Hard) Sayatovich, whom he married June 30, 1984; niece, Tina M. Sayatovich; his three loves, great nephew, Kevin (Katherine) Moore, great nieces, Caitlin Kinney and Kallee Jo Sayatovich; four great great nephews, Colton Moore, Cayden Moore, Cohen Moore and Riley Green, who stole his heart; two brothers, George (Kathy) Sayatovich and Joseph (Jan) Sayatovich; five sisters, Clarissa (Richard) Joseph, Marylou Keener, Sophia Rimrodt, Annabelle Kovacs and Louella Moran; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Percy and Genevieve (Longaberger) Hard; three brothers, Milton, Jerry and Jim Sayatovich; sister-in-law and best friend, Violet Sayatovich.At Richards request, no calling hours will be observed.
