Ricky Lee Simcoe

A memorial service celebrating the life of Ricky Lee Simcoe, age 63, of Hebron, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Mike Roddy officiating. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. prior to the service. Rick was born August 26, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Bernard Pete Simcoe and the late Theresa Marie (Lazzell) Dellario. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Rick was a graduate of Eastland Vocational School where he studied auto body mechanics. He was employed with Daifuku America Corporation in Reynoldsburg where he had been a Quality Control Inspector for eighteen years. Rick was a jack of all trades and master of most and enjoyed spending time with family and friends out on his boat, riding his Harley (her name was Molly), waterskiing and auto body restoration and repair. He touched many hearts in his lifetime in so many ways and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his life partner and mother of his children, Judy Simcoe; daughters, Terri (Jon J.C.) Snodgrass of Columbus and Kelly Simcoe (Jim) of Columbus; dad, Chuck Dellario of Thornport; grandchildren, Rikki Lea (Joshua) Foster of Norfolk, Virginia, Taylor Simcoe (Tyler Long) of Columbus, Zachary Lee Simcoe (Amber Graham) of Columbus, Shannon Michelle Bennett of Columbus and Jordan L. Bennett of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Liam and Mason Foster, Leo Simcoe, Hensley Bennett and one on the way; brother, Bernard Joseph Joe (Brenda) Simcoe of Johnstown; in-laws, Ann and Ted Schreck and family; many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 13 years, Christine Sue Schreck, who passed away on April 9, 2016.
