Ricky Vanoster

Rick Vanoster, 58, of Buckeye Lake, died suddenly Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Columbus. He was born October 16, 1957, in Sumter, S.C., the son of the late William C. Vanoster and Sheila Vanoster Acord of Buckeye Lake. Rick was a 1975 graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., served honorably in the US Navy. He was an electrician by trade prior to becoming disabled.He was an active member of the Buckeye Lake Post #1388 of the V.F.W. and the Thornport Amvets. A former active member and trustee at the Buckeye Lake Eagles.He is survived by his mother and step-father Sheila and Ron Acord of Buckeye Lake, wife Patricia of Buckeye Lake, children Josh, Rikki and Kim Vanoster, step-daughter Brandy (Ryan) Mowry, 3 grandchildren; brothers Ray and Jay (Judy) Vanoster.Honoring Ricks wishes, there will be a memorial service at a later date at the Buckeye Lake Post of the V.F.W.
