Rita Jean Wires

    Rita Jean Wires, 64, of Newark, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on January 13, 2020.  She was born in Newark, Ohio on September 10, 1955 to the late James Harry and Elva Jean (Gill) Wires. Rita was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was an animal lover, enjoyed crafting, playing darts and spending time with her family.  Rita had an outgoing personality, who enjoyed meeting new friends. Survivors include her son, James L. Wires; grandchildren, Dallast, Kyle and Logan Wires; sisters, Rhonda (Dean) Johnson, Robin Haas and Jo (Roy) Hartshorn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rozana Brown.
