Robert A. Winkler

A private graveside service for Robert A. Winkler, age 77, of Heath will be held at Newark Memorial Gardens.Robert was born in Strasburg, Ohio on November 3, 1939 to the late Nicholas and Katherine (Lyman) Winkler. He passed away on May 16, 2017 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.Prior to retirement, Robert was a Production Supervisor with Pac Tec. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Janice (Cornish) Winkler, whom he married May 2, 1959; three sons, Greg (Rita Sue) Winkler, Timothy (Donna) Winkler and Bryan (Lori) Winkler; sister, Janice K Schilling; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Sandy Winkler.Memorial contributions may be made in memory or Robert to Foundation For Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Robert and the Winkler family.
