Robert Beany

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Robert I. Beany, 80, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Kevin Blade as celebrant. Burial will follow in Licking Cemetery, Hebron.Robert died early Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Newark following a brief illness. He was born August 24, 1934 in Columbus, the son of the late John and Ethel (Morrell) Beany.He served in the US Army and retired from Larson Manufacturing. He was a member of the Buckeye Lake Community Church, and a former member of the Buckeye Lake Volunteer Fire Department.He is survived by his loving family: Son Douglas (Debra) Beany, daughters Robin (David) Stukey, Pamela (Scott) Messer, Jill (Gordon) VInk, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; along with his sister-in-law (Betty) Beany, sisters Betty Lyons and Mary (Harold) Hosch.
