Robert Bellomy

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Robert Richard Bellomy, 83, of Pataskala, will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home. Kirkersville, with Pastor Glen Gram as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.Robert went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at his home following a brief illness. He was born December 10. 1928 in Columbus, the son of the late Glenn and Esther (Wotring) Bellomy. He served honorably in the US air force and was a retired Teamster, from local #413. He is a member of the Crossway Community Church in Kirkersville.He enjoyed tinkering with things, spending time with his family, and loved round and square dancing. He was described as one of the Kindest People, A fine Christian Gentleman.He is survived by his loving family: his loving wife and soul mate of 37 years , Betty, daughters Donna Bellomy of Dallas, Tx., Leslie Parker of Brice, son Joseph of Brice, step sons: Michael (Sharon) Keller of Dallas, Tx., James (Christa) Keller of Reynoldsburg, step-daughters Connie (Steve) French of Reynoldsburg, Michelle (David) Watson of Buford, Ga., Linda Kelley, Randi Morgan; 18 grandchildren, his sisters, Martha and Peg , along with many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Glenn, his grandson Robbie, his sisters Glenda, Lois, Patty and Sharon and his brothers Jack, Jim and Jerry.Friends may call Thursday evening February 2, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com
