Robert "Bobby" Wayne Penick

Calling hours for Robert W. “Bobby” Penick, 71, of Hebron, will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Bobby will be inurned with his family in the Kirkersville Cemetery at a later date.

Bobby passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at his home. He was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio on July 14, 1950, the son of the late Herbert and Katherine (McDowell) Penick. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School, class of 1968, worked construction and was a lifelong farmer on the family farm. Bobby enjoyed mowing grass and attending his grandkids sporting events at Lakewood.

He is survived by his wife Sue whom he married on July 15, 1972, his daughters Amanda (Jon) Griffith and Sarah (Dan) Hawk; his granddaughters Lindsey and Lauren; his sister Vivian and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Henry and his sister Virginia.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Lakewood Athletic Boosters, Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
