Robert Clutter

A vigil service and visitation, for Robert Christopher Clutter, 41, of Pickerington, will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, on Saturday September 20, 2014, with the service starting at 4:00 p.m. Chris will be buried in Kirkersville Cemetery at a later date.Chris was born September 16, 1973 in Columbus, the son of the late Robert Lee Clutter, and Mary Jane (Nessley) Clutter McCarthy of Pickerington. Chris died on his 41st birthday, September 16, 2014, in Columbus, following a brief illness.He was a graduate of the Forest Rose School in Lancaster, and had worked for The One prior to his illness. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.He is survived by his loving family: in addition to his mother Mary and step father Stephen McCarthy Sr., include his sister Kathy (David) DePauw of Sunbury, step-brother Stephen (Amy) McCarthy of Lancaster, step-mother Rita Clutter of Baltimore, aunts and uncles Ruth Ann (Darrell) Sickles, Jim (Deb) Nessley and David (Phyllis) Nessley, along with his nieces and nephews Markie (Trevor) Ditmars, Travis McCarthy, Ann DePauw, John DePauw, Trista McCarthy, Daniel DePauw, Fran DePauw, and Bentley and Layla Ditmars.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Special Olympics, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Please log-on to www.hoskinsonfuneral.com and leave a message of support or condolence for the McCarthy family.
