Robert William Cottrill Sr.

Robert William Cottrill Sr. Entered eternal peace in the early morning hours of Monday August 22, 2022, at Licking Memorial Hospital. Born the youngest of six on September 3, 1950, in Lancaster Ohio to the late William and Florence Cottrill. Bob was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, car enthusiast, chef and a lover of life and his people. Among his many accomplishments Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle Bob and friend were by far his best. Ruth 1:16; “Where you go; I’ll go; and where you live, I’ll live. Your people are my people, and your God is my God.” Bob is survived by his son Robert W Cottrill Jr, daughter Bambi (Steve) Mandeville, son Bryan aka Bubba (Heather) Cottrill, son Anthony Cottrill, Sister Gladys Hutchinson and Mother of his children, Joni Sue Lang. 11 Grandchildren Shereas Cole, Alicia, Seth and Chloe Mandeville, Marie, Elijah, Lincoln, Ezekiel, Payton, Dutton and Reagan Cottrill. 5 Great Grand Children Steven Connor (Spud), Elizabeth, Penelope, Mason, soon to be baby Mandeville and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Bob is proceeded in death by his wife Montana Cottrill, sisters Betty Mathias, Barbara Bussard, Hazel Copen, and brother Leroy Cottrill. Following Bob's wishes cremation has taken place by Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Thornville. A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
