Robert E. "Bob" Miller

A graveside funeral service celebrating the life of Robert E. Bob Miller, 74, of Heath, formerly of Hebron, will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Newark Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Bob was born in Licking County, Ohio on January 7, 1944 to the late Russell O. and Esther V. (Rine) Miller. He passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center on February 16, 2018. Prior to retirement, he was a fork lifter operator for Anchor Hocking Glassware Company in Lancaster for many years. He was a member of the Silver Sneakers Club at the Newark YMCA. Bob enjoyed yard work, especially mowing his lawn on his John Deer tractor and was very proud to have the best looking lawn in town. Survivors include his two children, Bart E. (Twylla) Miller and Angie M. (Chris) Hedges; grandchildren, Amanda Hedges, Narcissa Zeek and Conrad Miller; brother, Russ (Michelle) Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Miller; and his loving dog, Snoop. The family has requested that everyone wear casual clothing.
