A funeral service, celebrating the life of Robert Parker, 73, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 8:00 p.m., at the Hebron Home of Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, with the Rev. Tom Myers officiating. Robert passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born April 27, 1939 in Baltimore, Ohio; to the late James and Clara (Reed) Parker. Robert served our nation as a Master Sergeant in the US Army. Robert enjoyed fishing, working on cars and loved to fix things. He also loved being around his family and friends. He is survived by his loving children: Kevin (Georgia) of Newark, Paula and Bobby, both of Buckeye Lake; brothers: Frank and James Dugeon; and sister Cindy Dugeon; brother-in-law, Charlie Taylor; His grandchildren: Shawn, Bailey, Annette, Donelle, Jason (Molly), Cody and Rylee; great-grandchildren: Amber, Maysha, Valen, Donovan, Adrian, Kylah, Joshua, and Emily. And his 21 year old cat, Muffy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol; daughter, Brenda and grandson, Scott.
