Robert Lee Gornall

Robert Lee “Bob” Gornall, age 87, of Millersport, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born June 28, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Henry and Lois (Bauchmoyer) Gornall. He was a 1951 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and was self-employed as a masonry contractor for many years. Bob was also a licensed realtor and farmed.  He was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Pataskala and the Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, waterskiing and loved bird watching.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 69 years, Dolly Jean (Cracraft) Gornall, whom he married May 26, 1952; three sons, Rick (Lavinne), Randy (Beverly) and Brad (Dixie), all of Pataskala; grandchildren, Marcy (Gary) Riffle, Cortney Gornall, Bradlee Gornall, Jr., Nicki Morris and James Hall; great-grandchildren, Emma and Gabby Riffle, Izzy Morris and Brendan Bobby; brother-in-law, Mike (Linda) Cracraft of Pataskala; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Gornall; and a sister, Helen Gornall.

Bob was a good husband and a great father to ‘the boys’. He loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. You will never find a harder working man who was a wonderful provider for his family. We are blessed with such great memories and he will be missed by all!

A private family funeral was held at Hoskinson Funeral Home in Kirkersville with burial in Glen Rest Memorial Estate. A celebration of life will be planned when family and friends can gather safely. Condolences can be sent to the family at: 3255 Cottonwood Ct, Millersport, Ohio 43046
