Robert K. Edmund

A funeral service celebrating the life of Robert K. Edmund, 90 of Columbus, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday December 11, 2016, in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. He will be buried next to his wife Constance in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville. He was born December 10, 1925 in Thornville, the son of the late Fred S. and Esta (Helser) Edmund. A graduate of Thornville H.S. and Capital University, class of 1946. Retired Insurance executive with J.C. Penney Insurance Co. Charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Columbus. Survived by his sons Mark Edmund of Grandview, Steve (Julie) Edmund of Galena, grandchildren Andrew (Kelly) Edmund and Emily Edmund, sister Julia Danison, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife Constance, July 10, 1996, his brother Charles Edmund, and daughter-in-law Sheila Edmund. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home, 56. South Main Street in Thornville.
