Robert Michael Langley

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Robert Michael Langley, 68, of Columbus, will be held on Friday April 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with burial to follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. In Kirkersville.

Mike passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 30, 2022, following an extended illness. He was born in Columbus on February 9, 1954, the son of the late Wilie C. and Virginia M (Farmer) Langley. A self-employed contractor, Mike enjoyed time spent with his family; gambling, playing the lottery and casino trips.

He is survived by “the love of his life” Janice Dohn, with whom he shared 32 years along with his cherished canine companions Champ and Lucky; his sons Michael (Pity) and Jeremy (Taryn) Langley; his stepdaughters Traci (David) Kay, Tammy (Danny) Dobbs; his six grandchildren: Caitlyn, Morgan, Cortney, Lillyan, Ethan and Aidan; his sisters Ruth Watson, Lily (Charles) McKeever, Judy, and Goldie Langley; his brother David (Debbie) Langley; and over 100 nieces and nephews; his employer and friend (of 40 years) Neil (Linda) Leichner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Jack Langley and his sister Karen Hood.
