Robert L. Mccall

A Celebration of Life Gathering, for Robert L. “Bob” McCall, 81, of Newark, will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Woody English Park, Newark, Ohio. Bob was born in Zanesville, Ohio on December 7, 1942 to the late Myron and Thelma (Mayo) McCall. He passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on May 12, 2024. Prior to retirement, Bob was the former owner of the Somewhere Else Bar, Blue Moon Lounge, Moonshine Beer Drive Thru, Luxury Limousine and Wheel-N-Deal Antiques Shop. Bob was a member of the Newark Masonic Lodge; was a 32nd Degree Mason; Scottish Rite; and the Newark Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed collecting antiques, Coca Cola memorabilia, spooin, spending time at Buckeye Lake, and traveling. Most important was the time he spent with his large family, friends and all of his loving animals. Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Katherine “Katie” McCall, whom he married June 27, 2004; Son, Bobby (Diane) Mossman; daughter, Darla Jean McCall; brother, Richard Lee McCall; sister, Lorie (John) Wheeler; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mindy Mossman; sons, William Mossman and Steven McCall; biological father, Robert E. Wollard; and a brother Raymond McCall.
