Robert Owen Mcpherson

Funeral services celebrating the life of Robert Owen McPherson, 100, formerly of Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Somerset Church of Christ, with Calling hours to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023. Bob passed away late Monday evening, October 16, 2023, in Zanesville. He was born August 8, 1923, in Marietta, the son of the late Enoch and Chloe (Higgenbothem) McPherson. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII. He retired as a maintenance foreman with EBCO manufacturing. Bob was an active member of the Somerset Church of Christ, and enjoyed Traveling, golfing and hunting. He also liked to build houses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives Bonnie and Marjorie; his son Robert McPherson; and his six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter Linda (Fred) Townsend, his daughter-in-law Gail McPherson (Mrs. Robert); and his grandchildren Terry (Kerri) and Gary (Rebecca) Townsend, Julie (Dave) Wolfe, Angie (Jason) Saiter, Christie (Mike) Weaver, A.J. (Megan) McPherson; his great grandchildren Leah (Brice) Milleson, Nathan Townsend, Nicholas Townsend, Tyler Schmitt, Maddie and Henry Saiter, Bella, Sydney and Roman Weaver, Gabby McPherson and London Hall; and his great-great grandchild Danielle; his stepdaughter Patricia Cannon, step grandson Stephen Cannon, step granddaughter Jennifer (Chris) Craig; step great grandchildren Connor and Hunter Craig; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
