"Bob" Robert Charles Miller, Jr.

A funeral service for Robert Charles "Bob" Miller, Jr., age 56, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Clayton Mitchell officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Bob was born April 27, 1965 in Zanesville, Ohio. He passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was a 1983 graduate of Newark High School and worked in construction and was also a lighting technician. He was a baptized member of New Testament Apostolic Church. Bob enjoyed crafts, motorcycles, and collecting OSU and Cleveland Browns items. He loved his dog, Bevo, and also loved eagles.

He is survived by three daughters, Chasiti Miller of Newark, Brittany (Clayton) Mitchell of Newark and Maci Miller of Hebron; grandchildren, Brayden, Clayton, Blake, Delaney, Braxton and Bentley; his mother, Donna Marie (Butler) Maines of Nashport; sister, Linda Culver of Newark; several nieces and nephews; and former wife and best friend, Marcia Downs of Newark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Charles Miller, Sr.
