Robert Samuel Bob Rogers, age 63, of Lima, formerly of Cincinnati, passed away on May 8, 2017 at his home. Bob was born December 5, 1953 in Lima and was a graduate of Colerain Senior High School in Cincinnati. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bob proudly served his country on active duty from September 1973-October 1975 and was stationed on Okinawa during Vietnam. He was employed in the printing and ink manufacturing business and had also worked for P & G in Quality Control. He enjoyed golfing and loved his dog, Hershey, who was his faithful companion. Bob was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns. He leaves behind five siblings, Bill (Lois) Rogers of Columbus, Jerry (Sharon) Rogers of Manchester, New Jersey, Nancy (Jim) Estocin of Deltona, Florida, Jim (Jne) Rogers of New California and Don (Diane) Rogers of Lima. He enjoyed being the loving big brother and uncle to his many nieces and nephews, Danielle, Zack, Mandie, Jamie, Tony, Amy, Erin, Stephanie, Brett, Lauren, Carla and Ben. He was preceded in death by his father, James Richard Rogers. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, in Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
