Robert L. Six

A funeral service celebrating the life of Robert L. Six, 76, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Prior to retirement, Robert was a shift supervisor at Sunfield Inc. for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing computer games and driving and working on old cars, but most important in his life was the time he spent with his loving family. Robert never met a stranger and he loved everyone he met. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Gloria J. (Grooms) Six, whom he married November 27, 1998; daughters, Tammy Six-Baker, Deborah (Tom) Baker and Melissa (Shane) Cochran; sister, Ruth (Curly) Sinnott; sisters-in-law, Loretta Six and Bonnie Fisk; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; special family friends, William and Nancy Slone; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Six and Jack Fisk; and two sisters, Mary Slone and Carol Lees. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
