Robert Lee Welch

A graveside service for Robert Lee Welch, 86, of Johnstown will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hebron Cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Ashbrook officiating. Robert died on May 25, 2023 in the loving arms of his wife, Elizabeth. He was the son of the late James and Katherine (Leggit) Welch. Robert was a coast-to-coast truck driver for his entire trucking career. He was very proud of achieving his "million mile" accident-free safety record. He enjoyed driving so much that he just loved traveling to see the country from a viewpoint other than his truck. He also enjoyed camping and RVing. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; his sons: Dennis and Robert Welch; his daughter, Robin Louck; his stepson, John Heskett and stepdaughters, Deborah Brown and Tina Allen; his sister, Betty Hoover; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Welch; his brother, Jim; and his sister, Janice Parrot. The Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Welch family.
